The evening of Thursday 4th November saw the launch celebration of the independent and locally owned Medineeds Clinic at 3 Bridge Street. Alongside members of the local business and healthcare community, the clinic team were thrilled to welcome Madam Deputy Mayor, Cllr Brenda Weston and Taunton Town Centre Manager, Craig Stone to officially open the premises. The clinic offers fully equipped, modern examination and treatment rooms for earcare, neurological rehabilitation, orthotics, physiotherapy and podiatry. Adopting a full circle approach, the clinic also features a studio focused on fitness and wellness services. Moments away at 2 Bridge Street is the sister store Footprints, which opened in August 2021 offering advice, footwear and specialist products for ‘happy feet’.
On welcoming guests to the clinic, Director and Principal Podiatrist Sarah Clauson said: “Medineeds was born out of a real desire to make services available which are difficult to access, or no longer available through public healthcare. We believe it is the small things that matter and our dedicated healthcare specialists will be on hand to manage minor ailments, with services tailored to ensure there is an equal focus on wellness and health. We really are on a mission to improve the wellbeing of the local community”
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Craig Stone talked to those attending of his passion for local retail, of the positivity of Taunton businesses and his delight at the opportunity to not only officiate at the opening, but to offer the town’s support to this exciting new business.
The team at Medineeds were fortunate that the clinic opening featured in the Somerset County Gazette, both in the print and digital editions, which you can read here: https://www.somersetcountygazette.co.uk/news/19698505.medineeds-opens-bridge- street-taunton/
Sarah and her colleagues also had the pleasure of local photography expert Clayton Jane’s company at the launch and thank him for the stunning event, team and premises photography he has produced for the clinic.
