One to one Yoga & Meditation classes are available in the Medineeds wellness studio with our registered yoga instructor. Face to face group or video group sessions for community centers, residential, care and nursing homes are also available.
Yoga & Meditation is a holistic and mindful practice that includes physical movements (asana) and breathing (pranayama).
Chair Yoga: gentle form of yoga that can be practiced whilst sitting. Chair Yoga improves flexibility, concentration and strength. Recommended for people with movement restriction and limited mobility.
Yoga to Alleviate Menstrual Cramps: An effective pain-relief strategy. A combination of yoga stretches and breathing focusing on your belly, pelvis, hips and lower back can provide targeted pain relief.
Yoga to Alleviate Pre-Diabetes and Diabetes: Yoga increases the number of insulin receptors and increases the receptor binding in patients with diabetes. It improves insulin kinetics by reducing fasting insulin levels, shifting the peak insulin level to the left, and by normsalising the insulin-to-glucose ratio.
